This is a high quality pattern part as the original Hella switch is no longer available. Has on/off switch for lights. Not standard on USA models ** This version has a wire approximately 520mm long, and will cover low bar to high bar models. On models that originally had shorter wiring (e.g. low bars), you may need to tuck the wiring up. Please note: on some models built before 1977, the original switchgear may have a red wire. This red wire gave a permanent live feed to the headlight flasher, meaning it would still work even with the ignition off. After this time, BMW removed this red wire (probably due to safety/legislation reasons). This re-production switchgear does not have a red wire so will not give a permanent live feed to the headlight flasher, but will function correctly in all other ways.
